Iwai North America is pleased to share that iBody Inc. has entered into a business alliance with Novalix Japan K.K., bringing together iBody’s proprietary antibody discovery technology and Novalix Group’s drug discovery and antibody evaluation expertise.

The collaboration represents an important development for iBody and its antibody discovery platform. Under the alliance, iBody’s proprietary technology will be integrated with Novalix Group’s antibody evaluation technologies to provide more comprehensive support for researchers developing antibody therapeutics.

iBody’s platform combines proprietary single B-cell analysis technology with cell-free antibody expression technology, enabling the rapid acquisition of high-performance monoclonal antibodies from human-, rabbit-, and alpaca-derived B cells.

The decision by Novalix to collaborate with iBody highlights the complementary value of iBody’s technology within a broader drug discovery workflow. Together, the companies aim to provide enhanced support from the acquisition of candidate antibodies through their evaluation in the early stages of drug discovery.
