iBody
Rapid Monoclonal Antibody Discovery
Product Basics
Rapid Rabbit & Human Monoclonal Antibody Discovery — Sequences Identified in as Little as One Month
iBody provides a comprehensive, collaborative antibody discovery service using its patented “Ecobody” technology and works closely with customers to efficiently identify high-quality monoclonal antibody sequences, often in as little as one month.
Key Features
- Generates hard-to-make monoclonal antibodies
Produces rabbit monoclonal antibodies that bind small molecules, detect subtle amino acid differences, and recognize post-translational modifications.
- Delivers high-affinity, high-specificity rabbit antibodies
Leverages rabbit antibody diversity and longer CDRs to achieve superior binding performance compared with mouse antibodies.
- Enables rapid antibody screening with Ecobody technology
Uses a cell-free system to evaluate antibodies quickly and exhaustively while preserving antibody diversity.
- Offers end-to-end custom antibody services
Provides tailored support from antigen preparation and rabbit immunization to antibody discovery and recombinant antibody production.
Technical Information
What is “Ecobody” Technology?
“Ecobody” is a patented technology developed at Nagoya University, Japan, which enables to obtain and evaluate useful antibodies produced in humans and animals exhaustively and rapidly.
Benefits of “Ecobody” Technology
Ecobody technology combines a single-cell method with cell-free in vitro expression to enable rapid, exhaustive monoclonal antibody discovery. By isolating antibody genes directly from individual human and animal B cells using single-cell RT-PCR, iBody preserves the original antibody diversity without requiring B cell immortalization or proliferation, reducing the risk of cell loss. Fab antibodies are then expressed in a homogeneous cell-free system and evaluated by ELISA, allowing fast, reliable screening and antibody evaluation in as little as two days.
